Maybe I am wrong but has the UK Toy Fair happened? I know the U.S. Toy Fair should be happening soon also? Does anyone know the dates for any of these toy fairs and when we should see some pictures?

Its good to be able to post again, I have been quite ill with flu
So I've got a Transformers Masterpiece Bluestreak that was seriously messed up at the factory. One of the mirrors seems to have broken off at the factory and they decided to glue it back on rather than replace the mirror and the part it connects to. Aside from doing an awful job of putting the mirror back on straight, they managed to make a mess out of the glue and it ran underneath the part and got inside the joint completely freezing the piece now making it totally impossible to transform.
So, any idea what I can do to unstick the part? I'm thinking trying to dissolve it is pointless since I don't know what kind of glue they used. Would sticking it in the freezer help at all in making the glue brittle and then take a leap of faith to crack it with some force? I figure whether I accidentally break the piece off or leave it as is the results are basically the same.
Any suggestions?

I haven't collected SW toys since 1980 literally, but I have found myself buying characters from the 1st 2 films in the Black line. Am I alone in thinking the cloth items aren't working? Cloth capes and whatnot don't ever seem to fall right until about 9" scale. Cloth capes at smaller scales just look like stiff rectangles.
This line has been a pain to find a retail for the last few years. So it's nice to see that Toys R Us is going to make getting this set easier by offering preorders. And the price is back to reasonable levels at $90 for 5 figures.
Yeah, he's kinda pricey. Yeah, he feel's kinda light. Yeah, the sound quality is kinda poor (could have been left out all together, imo). But dangit, put him next to NECA's battle-damaged Robocop on the shelf and suddenly those quibbles go away. This was another one of those toys I thought would probably never happen. Kudos to NECA for moving ahead without any retail support. If they're still available in month or two from now I may order another.
So quiet here...helloooo?
I'm completely reworking/kitbashing/customizing those 7, Silver Age (well, not the yellow Wolfy, IMO) Marvel figures from the recent & now defunct (I believe) third attempted relaunch of Captain Action by Round2. These costume sets, overall, were excellent...and perhaps might have improved significantly as the line continued...? (The initially, wildly oversized masks, did improve their appearance for the final 3 figure releases.)
It was a terrific shame that so much excellent planning & work went into this line relaunch...only to have it die in one year. The price point was excellent, even if some important corners were cut or overlooked.
Props that Round2 wanted to sell these locally at toy stores. Kudos! Too bad that 10-12yo males have little interest in playing with a 12" doll...who can "turn into" characters that would seem unfamiliar, since they don't look like their current movie versions.
Got him yesterday from hasbrotoyshop. I am a little disappointed in his weird waist/hips, but fiddling with a figure to get them standing is nothing new. The Rhino mode is a tad underwhelming, but the robot mode and FINALLY having those two chain guns more than make up for it. I'm hoping he's successful enough to revisit some of the other Beast Wars characters-- I'll have to dig out my Dinobot re-do to see how well they fit together. Bring on Waspinator and Rattrap!!!

Haven't seen these posted anywhere else.
Looks like Hasbro is taking the same monochromatic route as the Star Wars Black Series packaging. I think it actually works, as long as these are displayed far enough from the SW toys to make them two visually distinct toy lines.
The toy line's name actually clarifies earlier reports about future series integrating non-Avengers characters such as the previously announced X-Men, etc. So it's not Avengers Infinite, but Marvel Infinite with a wave one focus on the Avengers.
Hey everyone...
It's been a non-stop past four months, but the first issue of littleplasticmen magazine is up! We'd love to hear any feedback you might have regarding our first effort. We think we're off to a solid start!
Thanks!

The Pop Culture Awards, The Poppies are back for 2013 and the Ballots are now live! Something we’re trying yo emphasize this year:
Remember that these aren't 'toy' awards, and they aren't 'action figure' awards. They are pop culture collectibles awards. That doesn't mean toys aren't here - lots of us collect toys. But it does mean that being a great toy isn't the first or only aspect that matters
Please take your time and look at each link as we have chosen multiple versions of characters like Iron Man, Batman or Joker in several of the categories. There are new companies making there first appearance this year.
Swing by and place your votes then come back in February to see who your choices line up with the industry judges.
