Captain Action: Not dead?!

Check out this Silver Age DC goodness...and it looks as though the Round2 folks may have resolved the oversized, bobble-head mask problem that ruined most of the first line of Marvel costume sets?

Discovery Astronaut Deluxe 12" 1/6 Scale Spacesuit RED Version

OMG...these look very nice...maybe not $550 nice...at least not to my meager wallet. And at that price point they couldn't include a figure? (Might take a brain surgeon to install these suits on a base figure...)

These remind me of that scammer...the name escapes me..."Twinch" or somesuch that purported to have similar, high quality 2001 spacesuits for sale maybe back in the 90s? Never shipped one AFAIK...including the one I ordered.

Designer Toys

Grown Childhood: Designer Toys

Bringing life to new ideas and subject matter through the Designer Toy/Art sculpture medium. This series deals with shows watched and enjoyed as kids, but with a real world twist, exploiting two opposite ideas relating to each character. Taking characters known to most 90s kids and adding an idea that is very real is the concept behind this series.

Mandroid BAF parts for wave 2 are reversed

Got two winter soldiers and look...it seems as if Hasblow goofed. Red skull is packed with Mandroids "left arm jaws of life"...okay I get that...MANDROIDS LEFT ARM...now look at the back of the packaging showing what BAF part goes to which figure...winter soldier's right leg pack in is not Mandroid's "right leg"...the right leg is actually MANDROID'S left leg..it's left leg...thanks for the lack of quality control/confusion...couple that with the Black Widow one per case/Mandriod torso many arms and legs leftover to fill landfills...how we suppose' to make armies and armies of MANDROIDS...HASBLOW?

New stuff!

Recently discovered (dubbed) Tiger & Bunny. I just received the 12" Perfect Model Wild Tiger from Japan in record time (USPS delivered on Presidents Day?!). I'm always afraid of breaking figures like this...included, detailed instructions only in Japanese, of course...and I'm dubious about figures with so many batteries to corrode over time...but this guy does ROCK...and I'll be getting a 12" Barnaby Brooks ASAP:

Also, saw the new "Super Powers" DC Classics at TNI. (Somehow, Hal Jordan seems to have been reimagined as The Riddler!) Not sure how many JLAs will fit on my shelves, but I suppose there's always room for a few more...

(New BTAS preorders @ BBTS were a surprise.)

Knex Angry Bird blind packs codes?

My local Target has Angry Birds Valentine blind packages, similar to Lego Mini figure packs. However there are codes with underlined numbers on it.

Does anyone know what the codes for this set?

Any help would be appreciated

Help me...please!

When I was a kid (late 80s very early 90s), I had this big red dragon/triceratops-like robot. Its eyes lit up, it walked, its big attachable wings flapped, it made roaring noises, its head and tail moved. You could attach a tank-like thing onto its back, with had moving missiles either side of that, and it came with a "human" robot, who you could half at the waist and sit upon either the tank or the dragon. It was freaking awesome and its bothered me for years. Spent numerous hours over the years trying to find it online but no no avail! ANYBODY have any ideas?! The human robot was tall and very clunky, had a falcon-like helmet. He could walk by himself, but could be detached at the waist to fit on the tank. The tank could also move by itself, but could attach onto the dragons back. The dragon itself was a pretty big toy...probably around 15 inches in length. But yeah definitely not a worldwide brand such as star wars or transformers, nobody else had it around where I lived so i'm thinking it may have been some kinda import (I live in Scotland). ANY help would be so much appreciated

NECA Simpson Guest Star figures are out

I had more or less forgotten about this line until I found them at Toys R Us this weekend. There are six figures: coach Homer, Yao Ming, Kid Rock, James Brown, Hugh Hefner and Tom Hanks. All six are available as 5 inch figures or 2.5 inch unarticulated figures that are sold in either a 6 pack or a trio of 2 packs. $12 each is more than I would have wanted to pay, but when I saw that they would actually fit in with the Playmates WOS figures, I bought the entire series.

Hasbro's 30th Anniversary Jetfire/Skyfire!

Pic apparently originated from eBay. It's all over the various TF sites online. It's a Leader Class figure, and will be available at US retail.

There's also supposedly a 30th Anniversary Megatron that transforms into a tank and has a robot mode that's based on the G1 figure on the way, but this Skyfire/Jetfire's what's got me pumped.
