I have a question well-suited to this forum. One I cannot seem to find an answer to elsewhere...
I'm increasingly unhappy with (what I consider to be) the malformed hat on the Black Freighter version of the Rorschach figure. It's shaped more like a "pork pie" hat, with a very low crown.
The shape of the hat on the DC Direct Rorschach looks better to me. Too bad this figure has such severely limited articulation.
Can anyone suggest how these two figures compare to each other size-wise? Especially in terms of head size? Is anyone aware of any side-by-size photo comparisons online anywhere?
Obviously I'm thinking of a head swap. Has anyone attempted this?
I have a spare Question figure with a more suitable hat. I could repaint it...and could repaint/rework his featureless face, but would prefer not to do so unless all else fails.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
HI buzzers,
My brother recently discovered that Hero clix has made a series that reflect the 1960's Batman show. With such surprises as Shane, Egg Head and King Tut, Adam West and Burt Ward Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson, hero clix, well he is just smiling like crazy.
I told him wouldn't it be great to display these in some kind of clear PVC box with slots for each character, and a way that dust and dirt could get in there.
Does anyone know if a craft stores sells such a case that would fit many hero clix/

If you can send a link on here, that would be great
I wonder if there are any codes posted to say which characters appear in what bags. I know I have seen codes for the Mario figures, and I know that is Knex, so any codes for the Pacman series?

Thank you very much for any help
Year after year I've observed the ascension of the HotToys (HT) product. It's amazing how adept companies have become at sculpting the likenesses of various movie stars, with varying degrees of success of course.
I've been a fan of 12" figures since my first GIJoe in the mid-60s, and I had been sorely tempted to lay down a considerable chunk of change for one of these HotToys figures...simply out of curiosity. For better or worse, I'm simply disinterested in most every "movie" version of comic book superhero characters (along with 99% of live action superhero movies).
The Chris Reeve Superman HT figure was alluring, but I always saw Chris more as Bruce Wayne, not as Supes...but at least the character was recognizable.
I considered a more-or-less familiar Iron Man figure...but aside from being way expensive, they looked way fragile.
It's a shame (or a good thing) that HT doesn't make a line of Silver Age Marvel figures, or I'd be in the poor house.
Also, hey everyone, it's been a while.

I really would have liked some Revoltech figures based on that movie.

Hi Gang,
New guy here. I'm a photographer and as the weather turns cold, I start shooting indoors. I have an idea for a 'shoot that would go with a short story (I'd write that) but I am in need of a figure (or a line of figures) with the following limitations/requirements:
(1) Dark. Adult. Like Alien, Predator, Hellraiser (esp Hellraiser)
(2) Fully pose-able, what I really need is the figure to bend/pose like a human, in other words, at the elbows/knees, shoulders/neck, wrists/ankles.
(3) There is no number 3.
I'm not much of a toy collector, I have some Xevoz figures which are very pose-able, but not 'realistic" enough if you know what I mean. I understand good action figures aren't cheap, all the same I'd like to set an upper limit of, say, 75$ a figure. Ideally I'd need two figures, but could get away with one (the story has yet to be written)
Suggestions/advice/etc is greatly welcomed.
Cheers!

Hey all, here's a new review for you. I come off as pretty critical of these, but I really do like 'em.

Talked with a guy at my local toy store the other day about a couple of scalpers. The conversation got very interesting when he mentioned one guy is banned from the store because he was caught returning figures with older figures in their place and missing accessories. Think Wrasslin'.
What is it about this hobby that makes people feel the need to steal and con others?
Thing is, I've bought stuff from them before. NOT the high priced current stuff but older used figures mostly. Not anymore.
