Lando Calrisian

Lando’s outfit was hand altered for fit. His head was repainted using diluted acrylics. You can really see the detail in the face.

X-Wing Luke

Luke’s body was switched with a Dragon. The head was from the 100th figure collection (I think). The jump suite was hand altered for fit, and painted with diluted acrylics. The plastic pieces were repainted with acrylics. The belt was added over the jump suite and this is, in my opinion, what really makes the figure.

AOTC Obi-Wan and R4 unit

Obi-Wan had a body swap and his clothes altered for fit. The cloak came from a Collector’s Series Ben Kenobi. The head was repainted with diluted acrylics. This really isn’t a bad representation of Ewan once the details are brought out. His R4 unit was the green and white R2 from TPM. This was a simple repaint with acrylics, with dry brushing for weathering.

Stormtrooper

The only portion of this figure to come from Hasbro’s version was the black under suit. The armor came from a 12” scale vinyl model (possibly Screamin’). The model originally came in six or seven vinyl sections, so it needed to be cut from the figure base. The body was a Dragon body, but even this had to be modified in order to fit the armor around the arms and legs. After boiling the figure to soften the plastic, an Exacto was used to “whittle” away at the appendages. After it was primed, high temperature spray paint used to refurbish appliances was used on the armor.

Tusken Raider

The body was swapped with a Dragon, and the outfit was hand altered. The clothes and plastic were painted with diluted acrylics. The neck wrap was a scarf from a Hoth Han figure.

Darth Vader

Vader used Hasbro’s electronic version of the figure, but that was mainly for the pleather under suit and cape. The armor, boots and gloves came from another 12” scale vinyl model. The under suit was hand sewn to fit tighter on the body, and the armor was attached and painted with acrylic paints. In a later version I repositioned the head so he doesn’t need to look up all of the time.

Wedge Antilles

Wedge came from the FAO exclusive. The body was swapped with a Dragon. The jump suite was hand altered for fit, and painted with diluted acrylics. The plastic pieces were repainted with acrylics. The small tab that stuck out of the top of the helmet was removed, and the space filled with epoxy. A small piece of elastic was added for the chinstrap and a small snip of wire was glued inside for the mouthpiece.
