We both dressed as ninjas. This was his first con, and DC's first comic con.
He got a Dirt Boss Transformer, but for the most part, 90% of the tables were comics. I also got him Marvel Masterpieces #1, which was just illustrations and no words (he's just learning to read) and he really liked that.
He said he'd do it again sometime, so we're planning on hitting Baltimore in September.
Here is a write up and Cosplay gallery
If I remembered correctly that the Marvel Universe will be producing the character A Bomb which will fall into the 3 3/4 line. I assume he might be a whisker taller than that size seeing the Hulk like figures (red and green) are a bit on the taller scale.
I know there will be another Avengers line (animated) which hopefully will produce some more other B and C characters. I hope the Agents of Smash line will produce a Red She Hulk, General Ross figure (well he is now a HULK). and perhaps U Foes (Toy Biz did make an Iron clad figure, but did not produce any other U Foes). I know the Marvel Legends did produce a Red She Hulk, but was hoping for a repainted She Hulk for Marvel Universe line. Maybe a convention piece?
I would ask for a Rick Jones and Betty Ross/Banner figure, but I think realistically it wont happen. But we might get another Dr. Banner figure...there has been like 3 made thanks to the comic book series figure and movie figures. But at least we got a human form of Emil Blonsky and some really cool Hulk busters too.

Hi I was curious if anyone here has bought the kiss figures or monster figures from Figures Toy Co? I just saw they will have the Mego Batman figures.
http://figurestoycompany.com/retrobatmanactionfiguresseries1.aspx
As many of us know, many companies have tried and tried to come out with the 8" Megos we love. I would love to get my boys theses figures, but will it be worth the $25? Some of the ones I've bought in the past weren't. They look so cool.
Any help would be appreciated as I am not sure who the dude is.
I just know he doesn't look happy.
Thanks

Hi Buzzers,
Has anyone seen what I call the generic Ultimate Spiderman 3 3/4 figures (regular Spiderman and a blue translucent Spiderman figure that comes with webbing and a spider). From what I can tell there is only 2 figures for the Spiderman set (they average about $5.99, and its a small carded figure that has a blister). They are pretty cool, but hoping for some villains to be released, hoping for the beetle or many the trapster....hoping..for a Paste Pot Pete figure.
So will there be any more figures released to this series?
There is , what I call a generic Iron Man movie series, same scale, that have 4 figures to the set. I am actually thinking about getting the ghost armor iron man, I think it's called the Ghost armor, could be wrong.
So will there be a Mandarin figure released for the series?
I am hoping so. I was hoping for a Pepper Potts figure and a Tony Stark figure, in a business suit, an unmasked iron man in 3 3/4 scale. Since the movie is next month, I wonder if there will be some figures release for the movie.

So like a lot of people, I have been doing regular runs to TRU looking for Predators Series 8 featuring the first release of Dutch / Arnold from the 1st Predator Film. Some people were able to find this series at FYE, but after the large FYE closest to me closed 2+ years ago, I was left with pre-ordering online. Well that also was no help since my main e-tailer has yet to get these in stock. But back to TRU…
A lot of people on various boards are claiming that the reason we have not seen this series in TRU yet is because the Jungle Extraction Dutch features the figure smoking as well as him smoking a cigar on the packaging. This actually would make sense because TRU does not want to promote smoking to kids even though this is considered an adult collectable. Regardless, after reading these posts about the Cigar Issue, I decided to order a set through Amazon for only $45 shipped for the pair of Dutches. People feel that TRU will skip right to Series 9 featuring 2 different Dutches sans the cigar, I tend to agree.
Hoping to sublet some promo space for this Saturday (April 13th) show; will happily pay and should be able to throw some additional foot traffic to your booth.
I finally gave up hope of seeing the Hit Monkey series of Marvel Legends in stores and ordered a set off of eBay. (Found a full set for a few bucks less than they are listed on BBTS.com) But now that I have them in hand, it made me realize that I still have yet to see any evidence that the variants for either this series or the previous one were ever shipped. Has anyone else seen Blade or Dana Moonstar from the Epic Heroes wave (or white Dr Doom fro that matter) or the variants for the Hit Monkey series?
