For those who still need him, good luck.

Somebody refresh my memory about JLU Lex Luthor please

There was a JLU Lex Luthor in a 3 piece suit. I want one for a custom base, and I can't remember how it was released. Was he JLU or STAS? Was he a single or in a 3-pack or what?

Thanks in advance,
Bill

Lego Iron Man 3 Sets...poetic licensing...SPOILERS

If you haven't seen IM3 yet, do not read any further...lots of SPOILERS.

I picked up the Iron Man 3 Lego sets about a month ago knowing nothing about the movie other than the charactors I had seen in the trailers and toys being solicated. I have ruined a lot of movies before, reading spy reports and set updates, so I try to stay away from SPOILER ALERTS from now on.

So after seeing IM3, good summer movie, no Avengers though, I started to think about the 3 Lego sets for this movie and realized 2 of the 3 sets are total BS not to mention War Machine wasn't even in the movie. Now I don't know if Lego got the 411 from Marvel on what to include in these sets, but the Mandarin was a complete non factor, so why is he in 2 of the 3 sets, and why not include more Extremis Soldiers, maybe making a battle pack instead of a speedboat chase that doesn't happen. So where is the Iron Patriot minifigure? In an upcoming game promotion with Walmart for a holiday season release.

New 3 3/4 Man of Steel figures found at Books A Million, figure question

Yep,
With all of the hype with Iron man, it was good to see that the Superman figures finally were released at the book store, Target and Walmart, have yet to put them on the shelves.

I know that the figures are in 3 3/4 scale, so the likeness of the actors might just miss the boat, and well they did. However I must say, the (I assume this is what it is suppose to be since I have not seen the movie) General Zod with the black Kryptonian armor looked really cool. So I might pick one up for my DC Universe figures. The blue armored superman looked pretty cool too, he might look cool next to my Kenner Eradicator figure.

So here is my question, any chance that a Foara, I think that is her name, will be made into a 3 3/4 scale? I only can assume there might be one since Target had an exclusive 4 or 5 pack that featured a Catwoman figure. I am hoping that some over figures might be released like they did with Green Lantern figures. Meaning the other Green Lantern guys who might have made a cameo in the movie, but were not really featured in the movie

I can hope, right?

I know some people are having a hard time with some of these, good luck.

New 5 Inch Marvel Universe Blastaar, Hulk, Jubilee, and Professor X @ Target; New TMNT

Local Target finally started a decent re-pegging.
Picked up the new MU Blastaar (regular and one with the translucent forearms)
and a Hulk. Still remaining were 2 Professor X's and 2 Jubilees, and some other
past series figures. All have pretty good paint aps. 9.99 each, which is an "ouchie"
bit much.
Also saw some new TMNT figures; the sewer Croc and a Weed-like guy. Names
escape me, but nice to see some new stuff hitting locally.

Statue collector guide and collection tracker now available

Hey everyone. After many, many months of working on it, my site at http://www.statuehq.com is finally ready! The site started out as a statue price guide, but due to various circumstances I have scaled down a little bit. Even without the price guide, it's a comprehensive guide that I hope will be of use to collectors. As of now there are just over 6,000 statues in the database, nearly all of them complete with images and info. Integrated into the guide is a tracker to keep track of your collection as well as a marketplace to post your wants and your items for sale. Finally, the site allows for members to post reviews on any and every statue. Here are a few screen shots to get you started.

I hope you all enjoy the site, and if you do, I hope you'll be kind enough to spread the word. Smile Thanks for looking!

So is this Sunday (April 28th) the street date for Man of Steel toys?

Saw an article somewhere about Wal-Mart starting to sell advance tickets for an early screening of Man of Steel (2 or 3 hours early: 7pm on June 13th. Also, you'll be in a theater full of Wal Mart people...no bueno. I'll wait for 10pm, thanks.)

Anyway, the article made reference to new Superman merchandise hitting stores on the 28th, but didn't specifically say toys. Anyone know if this sunday is the day, and does that include the movie masters?

Marvel Universe Nick Fury at Hasbro Toy Shop now.

Been watching since the exclusives showed up a few weeks ago. The Nick Fury exclusive from years ago is finally up on their site for $14.99 for those interested.
