I've been looking and cannot find a modern 6" Thundercats Tygra figure even on e-bay. He's listed on the back of the 6" Cheetara figure. Has he hit retail yet?
Okay, I know this sounds like a loaded discussion but I'm curious about what others have done.
Let me preface this-- I'm a 1:18 guy. Always have been thanks to childhood of Star Wars and G.I. Joe. It's my preferred scale and still makes up the vast majority of my collection. However, I got into Marvel Legends back when they debuted HARD! Factor in all of the various other "Legends" and Legends-scale product that Toybiz put out and I ended up with a HUGE assortment of the Toybiz ML figures and BAF's. I even snagged a few of the Hasbro Legends before the price ultimately drove me away. (Curse you Hulk Legends!)
However, now there's the 1:18 Marvel Universe and movie lines. I've already been able to duplicate a lot of my MU collection in the smaller scale and even have some more "in scale" giant figures. Yet I've been holding onto all of my Toybiz stuff for some reason. Now that the g/f and I are looking to move forward and buy a house, I've been thinking that it might be time to pare things down and I keep looking at that giant tub of Marvel Legends in the corner.
Has anyone ditched ML in favor of MU? Any regrets? Was it even worth selling the ML off?

Sometimes it's very frustrating to be a G.I. Joe fan...
It's been MONTHS since I've found a new Joe at retail-- at least since early December of 2011. With the movie figures due to hit in May sometime, I'm betting that retailers merely aren't ordering new product but instead are clearing out stockrooms (albeit slowly as the Renegades Cobra Commander and Firefly figures sit and stagnate) in an attempt to have room for the summer movie onslaught.
Is anyone finding figures like the Zombie Viper still at retail? (Forget Renegades Storm Shadow-- finding him is like finding vintage Mego figures still sealed at a toy store in Oklahoma...)
I've hung on to some of the toys from my childhood. The long story short is that i had 2 daughters and I have some cool boy toys I was hanging on to.
I have:
- A Tonka Power Shift Mountain Master that is brand new in the box. The stickers aren't even on it.
- A complete collection of the Playskool SST Trucks and accessories. Bigfoot, Black Gold, Orange Blossom, War Lord, 2 pull sleds, a Bigfoot trailer, 2 sets of crush cars, and the Performance Centre.
- Big Trak and Transport with the original boxes. The Big Trak electronics still work perfect. Both the Big Trak and Transport have some broken plastic pieces. Not sure if these are worth anything in their present condition. Maybe the boxes are worth more than what's in them, LOL.
I need to try to pin down a value on these items. I can find some examples of the Big Trak for sale so I have an idea on those but the other items are hard to find a value on. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Is this figure Janet from the Avengers? If so, what comic books did she appear in (what year or what artist drew her like this)? I would like to see if I could find some back issues of Wasp in this outfit and why they chose this costume or who was using the costume at the time. Thanks for the help

Why wasn't I told about this? Who's in charge here??

Was able to get a full variant set. Lake Jackson, TX, south of Houston. Start Looking.
I ran across an item on Ebay called "Hard Corps" buy a company called Drastic Plastic. I did some research on this toy line and there seems to be very little information out there on it. My searches eventualy lead me to this forum. I've been collecting toys for about 7-8 years so it's a little before my time. It sounds like it was released in 1993 (despite the auction saying 1994). Do any of you guys know anything about this line? They're actually pretty cool designs.
Here's the link.
There's some good news & bad news. The good news is that I did NOT preorder any of these horrors. (And I was sorely tempted last year.) The bad news will be self evident when you see these GIANT HEAD disasters. Look...I wasn't expecting HotToys quality, but I was sorta anticipating a human-looking figure...not a hydrocephalic bobblehead!
Round2 came so close. The costumes look pretty nice...and the gloves & alternate hands would seem to be a nice touch. I had hoped that, rather than trying to ape the quirky, kiddie look of the original Captain Action's silly masks, that Round2 would adopt swappable HEADS. Guess not...
Even at the refreshingly low price point, I would not buy one of these for anyone over the age of 4, unless they were severely visually impaired. YMMV, and I'm as nostalgic as the next buzzer...but inhuman proportions are a deal breaker for me!! Too bad. This new Cap Action line held such promise. Round2 had a good idea, and evidently worked to modernize Cap's base figure design...somewhat. If fact, the new Cap Action may even look more comical than the vintage Cap with his squinty face and overly long, "monkey arms."
