Justice League Legends
Wave One

Created by Distant Thunder Studios.

Recipes

Well, with everybody and their dog, Aunt, kids and Pastor talking about doing an Identity Crisis wave, I decided to throw my hat in too. When DC Direct announced theirs however, I called it off. But, since most of these guys were ready to go, I built the classics line around them.

Black Canary - Just a very basic added articulation piece, with Chun Li legs and Elektra arms fitted to her torso. The leather jacket is the Modern Wolverine's with the yellow wiped off.

Flash - Another relatively simple, but very rewarding custom. DC Direct Flash torso and forearms, with Daredevil arms and legs, and X-Classics Cyclops boots. I'd recommend different boots for anyone wanting to try this figure, though. Cyke's just don't hold up well.

Green Arrow - I have a lot of love for this figure. In fact, he started this whole series. DC Direct Green Arrow head, Silver Surfer body, X-Classics Wolverine arms, and ML 8 Cap's gloves. The backpack is repainted from Hawkeye, who also donated his bow and some arrows. The rest are all from DCD.

Guy Gardner - I couldn't help but do this figure. Guy is like police chase shows. You know it's stupid, but you just can't look away. I just added arms and legs from a Spidey Classics Black Spidey, and some Punisher boots to the original figure. The shield came from TJ Parralax, and the sword is on loan from Kingdom Come GL.

Hawkman - I came across the old DCD Hawkman's helmet, mace and wings and knew he had to go into this wave. ML Kraven arms and torso, ML8 Cap's lower half, SC Scorpion boots for added balance, and Tom Jane Punisher head. And that's why there isn't an unmasked shot. The emblem came from a Justice League armored Hawkgirl.
