At this year's custom con,
retailers were amazed when Mattel unveiled their "Collector's Line" of DC
figures. The line (spearheaded by newly hired CEO , Max Robinson) will include
new figures from the Justice league and Batman lines. Wave 1 will consist of a
6inch 90's styled Nightwing, Wildcat, and a Batcomputer playset , as well as a
animated style figures of a Kingdom come styled superman and a 10 inch figures
of KC superman (not shown) and Zoom (taken from the "Blitz" storyarc in The
flash comic book). "After my predecessor was killed in the great fan riot over
the death of the he-man line, I thought it was time we started catering to the
fans a bit more" Said Robinson. "I really think fans are going to get behind
this line".
