STEALTH ARMOR IRON MAN

The Low Observable, or Stealth, Armor, is used by Iron Man for covert activities when "invisibility" is prudent. This sleek, jet black suit is a polarized metal mesh armor that uses every bit of space for detection and evasion components, and therefore was originally designed with no weapons.

This armor is notable for a couple of reasons. One thing different about this armor is that Toy Biz for some reason decided to put a little more into the design by making this more of an interactive toy for kids. A compartment on his back holds a cable system that lets Iron Man zip up the string when the opposite end is pulled. The other interesting feature is that this is the only sculpt that comes close to what many believe is "the" Iron Man: the 1970s design. Why it was never reissued as a repaint is a puzzler, and a loss for collectors.
