Mimoco's 2011 SDCC Exclusive Mimobot USB Drives

Comic-Con Exclusives 2011: Mimoco Offers booth signings and emily the strange, Star Wars™, and Batman™ MIMOBOT® USB Drives

(Boston � July 7, 2011) � At San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) on July 20-24, Mimoco (www.mimoco.com), creator of the MIMOBOT® line of designer USB flash drives, will release multiple new MIMOBOT products highlighting collaborations new and old. SDCC exclusives will feature high-profile properties such as Star Wars, Emily the Strange, and Batman, and in-person signings will be held throughout the four-and-a-half day pop-culture affair. Mimoco will be operating two booths on the Comic-Con floor, one located in the Star Wars Pavilion (booth #2913M) and the other in the Toy Growers section (booth #4938).

Mimoco's newest partnership brings Cosmic Debris' counterculture icon and black cat-loving artist/rocker, Emily the Strange, to the MIMOBOT collection. Emily will make her debut with a '60s rock poster-inspired "People are Strange" design that is limited to 500 pieces and will be sold exclusively at Comic-Con. Future Emily the Strange MIMOBOT designs will be released throughout 2012. Moreover, Emily creator, Rob Reger, will be signing at the Mimoco booth (#4938) on Saturday, July 23 at 1pm to launch the new collaboration.

From the ongoing Star Wars MIMOBOT collection, Mimoco will be issuing San Diego Comic-Con exclusive character, Bossk, the reptilian Trandoshan bounty hunter first seen in The Empire Strikes Back. In a limited edition of 500 units, this cult favorite joins fellow Star Wars MIMOBOT characters Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Yoda and dozens of others. Appearing for an exclusive fan signing, actor Billy Dee Williams of Lando Calrissian fame will be signing at the Mimoco Star Wars booth (#2913M) on Friday, July 22 at 12pm.

Previously announced at the E3 tradeshow, Mimoco, with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Entertainment, will offer the SDCC exclusive Harley Quinn x MIMOBOT featuring styling from Batman: Arkham City, the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, one of the top-selling games of 2009 and the Guinness World Record holder for the "Most Critically-Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever." Developed by Rocksteady Studios and based on DC Comics' core Batman property, Batman: Arkham City is published worldwide by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and will be available Oct. 18 in North America. Tara Strong, the voice of Harley Quinn in the upcoming video game, will be signing autographs at Mimoco's booth (#4938) on Friday, July 22, at 3:30pm. The exclusive Harley Quinn x MIMOBOT, which features a red body suit, blonde and rainbow-streaked hair, and menacing white face, is offered in a limited edition of 800 and rounds out the current Batman x MIMOBOT character assortment including the villains, The Joker and Catwoman, along with Super Hero duo Batman and Robin.

Mimoco will also feature limited edition promotional posters with purchases at SDCC and release new products on site, including the new Transformers x MIMOBOT characters Optimus Prime and Megatron, and additional unannounced items. Each MIMOBOT designer USB flash drive comes in a range of 2GB to 16GB memory capacities and is preloaded with MimoDesk™ character-specific content including wallpapers, avatars, screensavers and other digital extras. All three limited edition Comic-Con MIMOBOT flash drives will be available for purchase exclusively at Mimoco's booth in the Star Wars Pavilion (booth #2913M) and Toy Growers section (#4938).
