Mezco Toyz: Hellboy

Mezco Toyz is making several sizes of action figures for the Hellboy movie: action figures, 18-inch rotocast figures, and Mez-Itz, as well as backpacks. (For more details about the Hellboy Mez-Itz, please see the Mez-Itz page.)

The 18-inch Rotocast Hellboy features a cloth trenchcoat and a bendy tail. Another version of this figure, the Battle-damaged Hellboy (with horns) will be available only at Tower Records. The 18-inch Hellboys will retail in the $50 price range.

The 8-inch scale Hellboy action figures will be in clamshell packaging and include:

• Hellboy
• Hellboy with Corpse
• Abe Sapien (includes an alternate head)
• Sammael
• Kroenen
• Rasputin with Baby Hellboy

There are two variants on the smaller figures, both will be Previews-exclusive items (available at your local comic book store). One is a Battle-Damaged Hellboy with horns, similar to the Tower-exclusive 18-inch version, and the other is an Abe Sapien in a different outfit.

The tails on the smaller Hellboy figures are articulated where they connect to his body, but are not bendy.

All of the Hellboy items should be in stores in February/March 2004.
