Batman TV Show rights cleared up

Quote:
For the first time in over 40 years we will be able to offer fans a full merchandise program that captures the classic, kitschy look and feel of the original Batman TV show. This new licensing program allows our partners to take advantage of the characters, gadgets and humor that made the show a smash hit in its day and a perennial favorite decades later.

Help! I've been Digital Rivered!

I ordered a Club Infinite Earths subscription and now it's screwed up and I don't know what to do.

Earlier this year, I decided to cancel the credit card I used for the subscription and called Digital River to let them know and provide the new card.

Well, the Flash figure arrived and they charged it to my old card. So, the bank denied the charge and Digital River canceled my subscription.

I've called them a couple of times and wrote emails, but keep getting the runaround. They will not issue the charge on the card I told them to, they claim I have to reverse the "disputed" charge with my bank. Then they want a letter from the bank in order to reinstate my subscription.

I tried to explain how that can't happen since the card has been canceled and am getting nowhere.

What can I do?

Thanks for any input.

Matty Collector's secret customer service number?

Hey. After signing up for the Matty DC sub, I was issued a new credit card. I immediately called GO-MATTY to change my card number. They assured me they had everything changed an I was all set.

Well, I just got notice that Matty did not, in fact, update my card, and would be canceling my sub. Another call to GO-MATTY, and another CS rep claimed that my card was updated, and I would get a message from the Escalation Claims dept. to confirm it. Well, they now claim that *I* have to tell my bank to authorize the charge to the expired card, or they will cancel the sub.

So, rumor has it there's a super-secret phone number, answered by people who both speak and understand English, and are competent and capable of administering customer service. Anybody know that number? Should it be stickied somewhere? Thanks a ton in advance!

Avengers 3 3/4" Unmasked Rocket Grenade Blasting whatever Cap..is he out there??

I have been looking and have yet to see one...anyone else finding him?

Is he online only? Specific retailers? Figment of my imagination?

My love of 3 3/4" figures is so intense that it feels like I'm 7 again.

Transformer Dinosaurs

Does anybody remember the Transformers Dinosaur range? I remember having a Tyrannosaurus Rex when I was about 8 years old, but I wasnt old enough or strong enough to twist the neck, which was required to change the dinosaur into a robot. I wonder if that was why they were discontinued?

The Avengers vs The overly cautious Target employee (slightly long)

We always hear or see the results of scammer returns in retail, I suppose the following is how Target is trying to protect themselves.

I had purchased 2 Avengers figures (Ultimates Cap, and a Hawkeye) on Saturday at Target. Later that day, I decided to check TRU for a Black Widow, or maybe the ones I just bought at Target since they still had the Buy one get one 1/2. No luck on Widow or Cap, but they did have Hawkeye and a few Skrulls. So I bought Hawkeye, and 1 Skrull. When I got home I went over the receipts and found that Target's receipt doesn't have individual UPC numbers for the figues so I figured I'd return Hawkeye and the Skrull to Target the next day.

Go to Target the next day, receipt and figures in hand, mind you the figures are still unopened, in nice cards. So I give them to the Target employee and tell her I didn't want them. She looks at the receipt, looks at the back of the Hawkeye card, looks at the bottom of the blister pack, slightly pushes it in to see if the barcode wasn't inserted from another figure. I thought OK, she's actually watching out for scammers, props to her.

Because it's been awhile..Pick your 5 Fav Marvel 6" figures...

Toy Biz. Hasbro, Legends, Movie Figs, exclusives... it doesn't matter.

BAF figs themselves don't count.

I was looking at my Marvel shelf and it seems a few new ones are really standing out now that I know more about the characters:

1. Long Haired Winter Solider: This is probably the most detailed realistic ML/6" figure I own. Everything aspect of this sculpt is amazing. He looks pissed and ready to get the job done.

2. Marvel Face-Off Masked Captain America: I don't care how old it is, to me, it is still THE best Steve Rogers Cap there is. The unmasked version is equally as cool.

3. Toy Biz Astonishing X-Men Wolverine Unmasked \Version: I don't know why, but I have really become a HUGE Wolverine fan these past 2 years and never realized I had this gem in my collection as well as a 12" version. It is perfect in every way.

4. Hasbro 6" Fantomex: I initially bought him because he just looked cool and reminded me of Storm Shadow..now I really know the character and like him that much more.

5. Toy Biz Spiderman Classics Hobgoblin: I don't think this figure will ever cease to be a favorite of mine. It's a fantastic representation of the Amazing #238 debut.

Does anyone here have friends/loved ones in the Military that collect GI Joes/toys?

Since my Lodge lets me down on a regular basis, I decided to do my own Free Mason charity drive of sorts and organizing "Joes for Joes" where toy collectors currently deployed can still get have their collections maintained while being away from their homes and families.

The idea is to provide some relief for our Troops through an easy gift of a toy. It doesn't have to be a GI Joe or even a toy for that matter..if you know of someone in need, I am proposing to help that person/family out.

I'm going to take this concept to several toy forums once/ if it gets going.

I've all ready "adopted" a Soldier that is currently deployed in Afghanistan and won't be back till August. He was commenting how he'd probably never find the GI Joe Trooper and Zartan from Retaliation by that time, so I sent them off to him. Just a simple act and expense to help put a smile on the face of someone that helps defend our country and freedom.

Let me know if you want to help, have ideas or know someone in need.

Thanks,
Brian

Toy castles.

I've been looking for a nice toy castle - not the nasty, small & unrealistic ones you see in toy stores - something like I remember having as a kid.

Any ideas?
