Went to TRU for the first time in a long time (looking for Masterpiece Thundercracker) and saw a new (to me) DC Action League 5 pack with:
Huge headed Blue Beetle (Jamie, probably from the B&B sets?)
Phasing green Martian Manhunter
Batman with lines on his costume. No idea which costume this is
Wonder Woman with pants. Again, no idea which costume this is. JMS version?
Shazam/Captain Marvel
20 bucks, but I really wanted Captain Marvel. Yes I'm a sucker. It's also called a "value pack" but it cost about the same as 2.5 2 packs, so not much value there.
I have about 70 old Dragon Magazines from circa 1985-91 in various condition.. some are good shape, some are missing covers, others have scribbles in them, etc.
Do they have any "value"? I see various lots on eBay.. most aren't getting any interest, and are in better shape than what I have..
Just wondering. It's a hassle to go to the trouble of listing, describing, taking pics if there's no point.. otherwise, I guess I'll just toss in the recycle bin..
Thanks..
with another case of Phantom Mencae Wave. First time in 6 months my local Target has gotten Vintage and it's the plague wave from January. But nothing to fear Walmarts are starting to get the Lost Line Wave, nothing will peg warm now...3 more Troopers, re-hash Leia, Re-hash Gimmick Vader, and everyone's favorite charactor from the Star Wars Universe JJB. Thanks Hasbro!
Over the weekend, I found the Walmart exclusive second wave of the Cars "Take Flight" series (based on the Cars Toon shorts). Thing is, I found them at Target. Right out on the pegs, they rang up fine, and each had a big "Only at Walmart" sticker right on the bubble.
I Started a new blog just now. The blog is all about star wars action figures. Ill post news, information and reviews here. Just now i posted a content about new emperor's royal guard action figure from vintage collection wave 15. I admit the content may not seem very informative, but it was just my first post. But in future ill post new interesting content so keep looking.

I did a little video showing the new Dr Who Dalek plushies from Underground Toys. We saw them at Toy Fair, and had to have them. They come in several colors, and talk. I think they're great.

I am in Tallahassee Fl this weekend and stopped by the Wal-Mart there for supplies. Went to the toy aisle and found a full rack of WalMart Avengers figures with Hulk and Hawkeye, 4 of the 8 Batman exclusive Hot Wheels cars for 99 cents each, the $3.47 batman and catwoman cars and the larger Batman cars by Mattel. Since my carry on is overloaded as it is I passed on these but if you are not a scalper and live there go get them (oh by the way it is the Wal Mart by the Univerity).
So from what I can tell, all of Shocker Toys licenses were "acquired" by a brand new company called GBJR.
So is this his plan? To create a new company and make Shocker the problem?
But if he's trying to make people forget about Shocker and his synonymous association, was naming the new company after himself really the best way to go?
Am I reading this correctly? If so, good gosh...
Hey all, I'm trying to track down some background info on some Dragonball/ DBZ figures I have, but the old standby dragonballtoys looks to be gone and I can't find any good guides out there.
Any tips? Thanks in advance!
A nice review of Living Dead Doll Hit Girl.
