With the new reset, my Walmart finally stocked the 6" Avengers figures.

AFTER I bought Hawkeye off eBay & received help from another collector in securing Hulk.

Vintage Sandtrooper Folding Stock Blaster

Wow, the newly sculpted blaster that comes with the Sandtrooper figure is amazing. I thought the last sculpt of this blaster was a little too flimsy and small, and this one is just perfect. The folding stock on it is so small and delicate it's like something the Japanese would craft on a much more expensive toy. I wish Hasbro would release 10 of these weapons on a card...I'd buy it!

Here's a link to some pics of it:

Ok, the new Mattel DC All Star Batman is pretty awesome...

Thanks to the WC Rocker, I got to place my order and have 2 Batmans and a Superboy Prime..and they both look awesome.

I haven't picked up a current Batman book in almost a year and a half and finally decided to give it a try after hearing rave reviews about whatever has actually changed with batman in the 52 reboot. I really dig the new costume minus underoos so I bought 2 new TPBs and they were cool.

The figure is icing on the cake. I can't say I'll buy into all the DC Reboots, but so far Batman is still dark, brooding and and pissed off which I like.

The figure itself looks great and is more realistic if that makes any sense, He has minor hints of body armor and the bat logo is sculpted..a different design than the classic oval and it looks awesome.

In fact, this Batman and the SDCC X-Force Wolverine are 2 of my figs of the year thus far. Granted, it's not the sculpting genius of the Square Enix Batman, but it also isn't $60.Get it now at BBTS or all the usual suspects.

Thanks again for the top WCR!!! You da man!

ThreeA Action Portable Badbot review

Alright, I've never owned a ThreeA figure (mainly because I couldn't stay up late enough to catch a drop at Bambland) but snagged Badbot, the dual-pistol wielder. If you've never seen these it's probably because A. They're expensive, B. They're all limited runs and C. you have to order them 6 months in advance. Was it worth it? Find out!

Mario Kart Wii K'NEX blind bag figures

Other than feeling around the bag, is there a way to tell (ala LEGO barcode) which figure is in each bag? I could easily tell Bowser by his spikey shell. The others not so much. I only want Toad, but I couldn't make out his mushroom noggin.

Stories of Toy Break Heartbreak: Share your most heartbreaking toy breakage.

So after having to replace my Play Arts Arkham Asylum Batman, it got me thinking about toys breaking, and how much that sucks. We've all had it happen--what toy broke that left you the most saddened, frustrated, etc.? It can be more current or from your childhood. Obviously it sucks all the more when it's something older that can either no longer be replaced or can't be replaced without shelling out a lot more than you originally paid...

Mine was probably when my version 4 (not sure the number, but the blue w/orange goggles) Snake-eyes as a kid. His thumbs both broke after too many larger accessories being shoved into his hands. Luckily, my dad was savvy enough to realize I had plenty of other Joes to swap arms with and fixed him!

Matty in August

Re wives shipping confirmation for my Dc fig but not for the MOTU 30 figure. Called matty and they said that it's on preorder status. Anyone else have this issue?

Must-see stuff in Seattle .. good places for toys/comics?

Folks, I'll be in Seattle for a friend's wedding and will have most of the day around the city on Fri. while my friend is at work. My wife is off visiting family in Brazil, so I'm on my own.

Any recommendations on cool places for toys/comics or any must-see stuff during the day on Fri.?

I was there in '96 for a few days and remember the fish market, Space Needle and a bunch of good comics shops at the time, but that was in the boom times - ah, and I recall enjoying the Wall of Death and the troll under the bridge holding a VW.

Watch out for Amazon shipping!

Just a cautionary tale regarding Amazon shipping Star Wars figures.

I just got my Vintage Tarkin and the bubble was crushed because it was shipped in a padded envelope (!?). I was hoping to display this carded as it was always a dream figure for me when I was a kid.

Not sure if I'm going to return it and try my luck at getting a figure in better condition. I may just a second figure in the same condition...

Does anybody know Amazon's customer service e-mail? It's buried somewhere in the site. Thanks. Found it!

Toy Companies (Namely Mattel) Where the heck is D. Grayson Batman?

So now this is being solicited: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=PLI10020&mode=re...

That makes three action figures based off this new 52 version (and a Black and White statue), and not a Grayson Batman in sight. What the hell?

And if I may say so-- the "New 52" Lee design stinks. It STINKS! I'm already sick of seeing it, and it's only been around about a year. Both Arkham games had better Batman designs, and they were probably conceived by some random game designer. It's pretty sad when a game has a better armored design than anything canon, in my opinion.

Personally, I blame Christopher Nolan. He proved that an armored suit for Batman could look good in three dimensions, and now everyone thinks Bats needs to have lines and seams and other unnecessary elements all over his (and other characters') costume.

Okay, end rant.

But seriously, I want a DG Batman and Damien Robin like yesterday from Mattel.
