I happened upon a yardsale on my way back from an appointment. I almost drove by as it had mostly baby clothes on display along with nik-naks. As I drove by I did spy some tools under a table so i turned around to check them out. It turned out that the tools were shot and there was nothing else of interest. As I walked back to my car I noticed something under a table in the grass. I almost kept walking when I gave it a second look and realized what it was. I asked the woman what her price was and she said she could not take less than $40. I told her I only had a $20 and proceeded on to my car. As I was closing the door she brought it to me and said "I'll take $20. It's ugly and has been in my junk room for almost 10 years anyway. I loaded it in and brought it home to my son. When he got home and uncovered it the shock was worth anything I could have paid. I had bought him the Illusive concepts Jabba the Hut. He has had such a rough time with his brain injury that the smile seemed to lift his depression and frustration. It was a great deal at $20!!!! One question - how do you clean it?

Sorry, but this is the only place I can think of to vent. I went to just check out my storage locker and when I opened it, something things had fallen over. No big deal, everything was still fine, until I noticed my EMPTY DC Universe Classics Legion 12 pack box. It was still in the box it was originally shipped in. Looked around and could not find it (not that big a locker). There is a small gap at the top of one of the walls, and yes, the Legion was sitting close to the top. Most of my stuff is in storage since my son was born and we've moved, but it will eventually come back. But, still this was very frustrating. Now, the only Legion member I have is Starman.

Any word? Will the Mattel Booth at NYCC 2012 have another Collect-and-Connect parts exchange this year as they did last year? I would have brought plenty of spare parts if I knew about it last year!

No elbow or ankle articulation, despite the package clearly showing the figure having it? I can understand them gimping the vehicle version, which has been par for the course, but geez. I haven't bought many Avengers figures, and only got this one because it was the only one I've seen, but is this happening with other figures?

I'm trying to remember a toy that my siblings and I had as kids (early 80's) It was a line of figures/bath toys. Each set had a lumberjack figure with a sold body, arms that moved at the shoulders, and a head that would squirt water from the mouth. Each set also included a small animal sidekick that could squirt water. Finally, each came with a sponge shaped like half of a log with holes for the figure to ride in. As I recall, we had two different sets, one with a figure holding an axe and the other with a chainsaw. But I think that there were others. Anyone else remember them?

I own these toys called "Stickie Ickies" that were made by the Ohio Art Co in 1964 and were inspired by the ceramic art of artist Robert Maxwell. Only 5000 were release and were made from the bath. I am thinking they are pretty rare but can not find a price guide on them. Can anyone please help me out. Depending on the value I would think about selling them.
