I find it difficult to locate new posts since replies are placed inline following the original post.
Is there a way to view a thread chronologically using the 'quote' style for replies instead of with the replies inline?
EDIT: I see that there is a new link at the top of a thread that takes me to the first new post. That is handy. Is there a way to step through all the new posts in a thread? I see that each new post has a 'new' label that is underlined on cursor_over, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
There needs to be a BACK BUTTON at the bottom of each thread... after last post-reply. I know people can just hit the "Back Button", or scroll back up to the bread crumbs navigation, but they shouldn't have to. (Sorry, my day job is designing/developing sites... I can't help myself with "helpful" observations.)
The Lemming
So I did a quick shoot with a friend and a friend's prop collection for the toplessrobot.com art contest thing and I thought I'd share the shots with you guys and use it as an excuse to play with the new board.
We need a section dedicated to Gi Joe considering the movie is this year....
Got my email notification that the BBTS 7 packs are in and ready to be shipped. 90 bucks! Ouch!!
Maybe if anyone finds any, they can be posted here?
Might as well start a general thread for TCats.
I am really impressed by the 6" Classics Lion-O. For some reason the 6" just looks so much better than the already impressive 8" figure. This is in part due to the nice matte finish. I think that another factor is that the amount of detail is a good match for the 6" scale. The 8" figure comes off looking a bit bland.
Well...how were they? What'd you get?
Everyone knows what a Bat-Freak I am, so it was a very Bat-centric Christmas for me.
I got:
DC Direct Batman Inc. Series 1
DC Direct Arkham City Series 1
Batman fleece pajama pants
Batman Year One on Blu-Ray
Batman the Animated series volume 1 on DVD
Arkham City
WWE '12
It's A Wonderful Life on Blu-Ray
Uncharted 3:Collector's Edition
And of course gift cards galore.
And my wife got a Keurig which I have been using the hell out of. lol
And then we did the family thing where I dropped my 5 year old cousin on his head, and was bit by a pot-bellied pig. Yay for dysfunctional families!
Amazon has Catwoman and 1st app Bats Legacy figures in stock (Amazon proper, not sellers). So these should start showing up soon at other retailers.
Just wanted to try out the new board format...
Picked this up the other day at Wal-Mart in Sturtevant, WI, $20.99. Comes with The Miz in black (his third color in this pose), a ladder and the briefcase. It also works as a carrying case. Pretty decent set compared to some of the other Rumbler accessory sets.
The Miz in black...
Also works to hang a belt from (not included, belt shown is from Build n Brawl Austin)
I use Twitter a lot, so I really like it when there is a tweet button on an article I want to share. With that in mind, I wanted to have the tweet button on the new site (it's on the bottom of the page on the old version of the site).
For forum threads, it shows up in the top post. But are forum threads really anything that people would be tweeting?
I had tried adding the Facebook buttons to the forum, but with the way this software is set up, the Facebook stuff goes under the content and that placement was looking strange with sig files down there already, so I left the Facebook stuff off the forum.
Any opinions?
If no one cares either way, I might just take it off the forum posts because it does look a bit distracting up there by itself. At least on articles/press releases, people are already trained from other sites to see it on there somewhere. On the forum it is starting to remind me of when you get an ad inserted into the top post of a thread.
