Is it the end for MU at that particular Walmart? I was a little disappointed to see them on clearance since that is the only Walmart in my area with a "good toy department".

I haven't purchased any SW stuff in quite a while, but today I picked up the Target Exclusive Vintage Taun Taun and I was wondering if it is a new(er) mold. The last ones I bought were the ones from waaay back in the 90's, which may simply have been reissues of the 80's original molds.
Same for the Landspeeder, it appears to be the same as the TRU exclusive from a few years back, just with some different paint finishes. Is that right? Funds are kind of limited and I'm not a SW completist.

The trouble with the pictures not showing up is due to the filter replacing the long strings of numbers. That part of the filter is built-in and I do now know how to hack that.

I could turn off the filter entirely, but then we get spam and bad words and lose the ability to use the BBcode that everyone seems to like. Many of bad words that are filtered out are quite shocking, and so I do not consider this to be a viable option.

I've spent some time going in circles and have now found some add-ons to the filter that _I think_ will allow certain links to come through. But I'll need to turn off the site to add those, so that is something I'll wait to do in the middle of the night.

So what I need to know beforehand is... where do you host your images?

Flickr, Facebook, YouTube, Photobucket - are there any others that I am missing?

I'm not entirely certain that this will solve the problem, but it looks promising, and I wanted to update you to let you know I'm working on it.

Hadn't had any luck finding the last wave Iron Man figures at Ross or its sister stores. I happened to stop in Tuesday Morning to kill a little time waiting for a prescription to be filled. Debated on whether to buy the Rise of Cobra Desert Rockslide or the Dark Knight Two-Face figure when I spied an Iron Man 2 card.

Lo and behold, it was Whiplash from the last wave! So I take it and the Desert Rockslide to check out. I noticed the front of the store is full of Barbie and similar dolls and pay it no mind as the cashier hands me my bag.

Not sure how this caught the corner of my eye walking out, but I noticed some comic art. I walk back and it's **Joe Kubert** art belonging to the Dreams & Visions Mademoiselle Marie G.I. Joe figure!!! Behind it was the Blackhawk's arch villainess, Miss Fear!!! Price on each? $30! Seeing as they retailed for over $100 (and fetched insane eBay prices once upon a time), I couldn't pass them up. Took both back to the register after ensuring they were complete.

So now I'm looking for Sgt. Rock, his cohorts in Easy Company, and the Blackhawks at reasonable prices.

I know they are up to what series six? I feel i have gotten quite a few but have missed out on some i would have liked. My son gets the Lego magazine and they are really starting to crank out a bunch of specialized pieces for the classic minifigs. No longer just legs, torso, arms, hands, hair or hat for figs. I saw a Genie coming with lamp in all. The base was a stylized piece looking like a cloud of genie smoke. I think the peice is used for The Flying Dutchman in Sponge Bob pirate set.

The figs are nicely detailed and painted. I am very stoked about the LOTR sets coming. However they pretty much have the key characters elves, orcs, and dwarves. I have several already. Will be interesting to see if the variety that comes. It would be nice to get a new shortened leg piece that moves like the standard legs. I am not sure if the size allows for the articulation. I am hoping there will be a Treebeard with Merry & Pip.

so, i got an xbox for christmas. which means i'm playing all the games i've heard about all these years, but never could play.

which also means i'm now a lot more interested in the toys of these properties.

anyone know if the single-carded master chief anniversary figure is one of the figures in the master chief evolution box set?

i don't need many halo characters (famous last words), but i'm wondering if i'd be better off getting the box set for some cool versions of MC, or if i should just get the single, in anticipation of eventually getting the other REACH figures.

After the crap that was the Demo Man fiasco (still havent gotten my sub figures) Matty sent me an email saying the 30th figure is delayed then I just read this January is going to be killer on the wallet with 60 bucks for the Star Sisters BUT look at Febuary!! Ouch

it looks like our carefully planned release schedule has hit some turbulence.

When we lay out the line each year, we very consciously try to plan it so there are not too many items in one month to help spread out the purchase price over the year. When it comes to shipping items according to plan, MOTUC has had relatively clear skies for a few years. Unfortunately, logistical issues we could not avoid (yes, I know how you feel about that word!) have knocked our schedule around. We will still ship all of the figures we announced, they just may not be in the same month as originally intended.

We've looked at the full year and it looks like we will be back on track with figures starting in July. But between now and then, here is the revised shipping schedule for MOTUC and the 30th Anniversary Series:

I just started watching Transformers Animated and really like is so far. I saw some of the Takara figures in Chinatown yesterday and am planning on grabbing a few in the near future. Are they worth the extra price from the Hasbro ones or are they basically the same figures (or in the masterpiece lines case, the exact same figure save for metal parts, etc?)

Hallmark has the ornaments at 75% off and got the Nautilus from 20,000 leagues under the see for under 4 bucks.
Check your local hallmark for other ornaments.
The Christmas Peanuts plushes & other odds & ends were on sale too.

The Nautilus is really cool.
