The Four Horsemen held their FutureTro show tonight and I've collected some links and twitter images for Armchair Coverage here -> http://www.itsalltrue.net/?p=16839
Lots of great stuff! The final three original OSM are on display, there's artwork for a NEW 14th OSM (OSW really...), some FanEx Raven variants, and the totally unexpected debut of the FanEx Vampire Lady!
Aside from me, I mean! Granted, the most recent Playmates stuff has been pretty subpar, and the NECA line ending still stings...but those classic figures sound like they have the potential to be amazing. Lots of articulation and a focus on catering to the collector's market. Hopefully if those are a success they'll do a classic comics line or revisit the amazing 2k3 animated series with figures that do it justice. So far this is my most anticipated line at Toyfair.
That might tide me over until The Hobbit figures are shown...
I'll be in the Fayetteville/Rogers/Bentonville areas for a few days next week and was wondering if any fellow Buzzers could recommend some good shops to visit.
Thanks in advance!
Oh, wait. Turns out the focus will be on KRE-O building sets, role-play and "select" new figures.
Playmates failure at retail left them a little gun-shy, perhaps?

He sold Gi Joes. I bought Gi Joes. They here in a matter of days and are awesome! My Kudos to Lou!
WHOO! Just statues shown for now...but come on. Do you honestly think we won't see figures??
Saw a TV commercial a week ago for Walmart clearance items being marked off another 50%, but trips to two stores the following day resulted in no price changes (other than GL singles being down to $1.50). When can I expect new toy markdowns? (Or is it a store-by-store thing?)
Found the non-variant 3-some at TRUs in Summit Place, Pontiac. Two stores,
45 minutes and all set for now.
