McFarlane NBA Series 20

I pre-ordered a couple of John Wall figures (one for me, one for my nephew) from BBTS, and they've shipped and should arrive Monday or Tuesday.

I hate the cuts in the upper arms - I have no idea why the arms weren't just sculpted as one piece - but he's a former University of Kentucky player (the third McFarlane's made, after Rajon Rondo and Tayshaun Prince), so huzzah! =)

Anybody else pick any of these up? I've just stuck to acquiring former UK players so far (I'm definitely much, much more of a college basketball fan than an NBA fan), but NBA 20 Blake Griffin's tempting, since he's an absolute blast to watch and it's his debut figure. :b

Picked up 2011 Lego Set 7962 Anakin Skywalker and Sebulba's Podracers

From Wal*Mart for $45. Is this an error? Was this dumped into the clearance aisle with the oh-so-many green lantern movie toys by mistake???

The Old Buzz is Dead...All Hail the NEW BUZZ!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, type in the old buzz and it takes you here. No more ex-cons stalking and threatening to kill us and our families! Hey, that's got to be a good thing, right? Smile

So, I completely missed the boat on these: When/Where did the Batman Arkham City Catwoman/Bats 2packs show up?

I really dig the look of a lot of the figures from the game, and while I'm a little late to the party most of the figs are still available at retail or at least reasonably priced on eBay. But, I see this two pack of Catwoman and Blue/Gray Batman as well as a variant pack of them in gray(DLC inspired?). Are these packs just starting to show up or are they long gone? And where should I look?

Do you want proper Mortal Kombat figures?

Let these guys know, then! These are the folks that make the awesome Mortal Kombat statues on the market right now.
They're mulling over action figures with articulation and accessories, but getting an idea on who would want them.

The world has never gotten, but desperately needs GOOD MK figures. Sorry--JazWares figures do not count.

DC Direct solicits for this month?

Anyone know what day that'll be on? Wanna order Croc and Freeze asap!

Jeez-we going to save ANYTHING for TF? GI Joe Retaliation!!

Looking good! Looks like the toys have followed suit, and plan on looking better than the first film! Smile I was iffy on these seeing as how I just sold the first movie line, but now I'm sold. These look awesome, and how the first film should have looked!

today's new bell/whistle - uploading pictures to the forum in a reply

You'll have to be logged in to be able to do this, because I don't want anonymous spambots uploading pictures (trust me, the text is bad enough), but now you can upload images in your replies in a forum thread.

Under the box where you type your message, there's a "file attachments" option - use that for uploading pictures in the forum. (I'm not sure anyone would need to upload a picture when posting a comment on a news item or blog post, so I'm not adding this option there.)

I've got it set to automatically display the image you upload. In the reply. I'm still trying to figure out how to get it to display when you upload an image in the first post. So for now, just click on the link it displays in a first post and maybe in 2013 I'll have it figured it out.

Please remember the basic rules - nothing explicit, nothing offensive, nothing that is violating someone's copyrights (like magazine scans).
