------ Welcome to RTMemo ------

March is traditionally a slow month for action figures, a calm before the storm of Spring releases. While waiting for things like Episode 2 figures and Muppets figures next month, though, stores are slowly stocking things like the Scarlet Spider (at KBs only), Living Dead Dolls series 3, Episode 2 Preview figures, and new 3&3/4 GI Joes. Is it just me, or does this March seem like a better month for toys than March usually is?

PRO-Files: the Four Horsemen
The RTM PRO-Files section kicks off with a two-part look at the Four Horsemen in their studio. Read one part here on RTM and the companion piece on Action-Figure.com:

The Beginner's Guide
Are you new to collecting? The Beginner's Guide to Collecting Action Figures is loaded with the information you need to be an informed collector:

Spotlight: S.K.U.M.M.
The RTM Spotlight examines the new Super Kinetic Ultra Magnetic Men from X Concepts. In a nutshell: masks and magnets. Each figure wears a helmet which hides a unique head, and each has magnets in its back and feet, powerful enough to hold it to a refrigerator for days:

Spotlight: Mezco Toy Fair Goodies
The RTM Spotlight examines the three nifty items handed out by Mezco at Toy Fair: a roach statue, two Tiki-Mon, and the Fat Cap action figure from the Hoodz line:

GALIDOR Pre-Launch at TRU Locations
LEGO and Toys'R'Us are pre-launching GALIDOR toys in a handful of TRU stores in March and April. If you live near one of these stores, you can buy GALIDOR toys months earlier than the rest of us.

Dara and Sara
Apparently Barbie is a little bit TOO popular in Iran, so a new toy line has been launched, with two dolls (Dara and Sara) who dress a bit more like Iranian children do.

25th Anniversary Kermit the Frog Figure
Palisades announces that the Anniversary Kermit action figure will be a shared exclusive to ToyFare Magazine and Toys'R'Us stores.
