After years of false starts, incomplete lineups, and a variety of scales, Mortal Kombat is finally getting the action figure line it deserves. The new line from Tall and Awkward Designs will bring a variety of klassic kharacters and fan favorites. The line will start with the most current incarnations of the characters and slowly branch into the classic looks from the early games. This first wave shows us a glimpse of what we can expect in the future. There will be lots of articulation to allow you to capture all of the games action poses in your figures. Each figure will come with character specific weapons or other accessories where appropriate (note: not all accessories were shown yet). Hopefully this new line will have many waves bringing us the variety of unique characters Mortal Kombat has to offer.

The first wave will consist of the cybernetic ninjas Cyrax and Sektor, thunder god Raiden, evil sorcerer Quan Chi, Black Dragon clan member Kabal and the emperor of Outworld Shao Kahn. There will also be a two pack-featuring princess Kitana and her evil twin Mileena.
