First Appearance Heroes

Introducing an all new twist to an all-time classic! Marvel and DC comics have signed an exclusive deal with Mattel to produce a 12-inch line of figures never seen before (or at least better than those previous!)!

The line is called "First Appearance Heroes" which will be showcasing heroes from both companies as they were first introduced into the comics world! The first figure to be released will be from Marvel which will be the stunning first appearance of the Dazzler in all her disco days glory!

The second figure will be the first (modern)appearance of the new Supergirl from DC. Expect in the coming waves to feature Black Canary, Zatanna, Wonder Woman, Ms. Marvel, Wasp, Phoenix and Storm!

The first figure to be released is "First Appearance Dazzler." Like all the figures in this line she stands at approximately 12 inches. Comes with a completely removable spandex silver costume. Her accessories include 2 rhinestone studded bracelets, an armband, a silver-plated necklace, a silver disco-ball necklace, a removable mask to reveal a realistically painted face, rhinestone-studded skates with removable wheels (just like in the comic), and a silver microphone. All of which are removable.

She has multiple points of articulation including bending elbows (unlike other 12-inch Mattel figures) and has an "action feature" which allow her to move her arms while she is singing to her fans!

At press time Marvel/DC creative concepts director, Quincy Mata, had this to say, "I am so excited about this line! It feature figures from both comics giants and the detail is astonishing! It almost looks like each and every figure was done by hand!"
