This year to quell fans' screaming for his blood; DCD chief Georg Brewer has dubbed 2008 to be a year of true diversity; with little to no SuperBat figures. Continuing to wow the fans with his newfound emphasis on diversity; Brewer amazed fans with an entire wave of Golden Age Justice Society members. He said "while it doesn't finish the team; it's a start, and expect more waves to follow." Fans needless to say were overjoyed at finally being able to own core members Hawkman in his yellow cowled look, Mister Terrific; and a Johnny Thunder & Thunderbolt in a 2-pack. Georg once again stuck his foot firmly in mouth however when he said that Johnny and the T-Bolt would be in-scale unlike the Atom 2-pack he put out in 2007. Security had to restrain several unruly fans in attendance.
