"Fool for Love" Redux - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Sasha (aka MsBigPileofDust)
Web site: Sasha's Custom Made Figures

Recipes

Made February 2006. Thanks to Moore Action Collectibles, Diamond Select Toys and McFarlane for the parts.

Three-Stooges Willow

I used a Smiley Willow figure. I removed her hair, then sculpted the hat and new hair. I painted her face to look sweet and silly.

I sculpted the chunky jumper and textured it to look woolly. I also sculpted some crisps in her hand.

I used paint for the pattern on the jumper and paint with pen for her trousers. I sculpted foot holds into a graveyard stand.

Three-Stooges Xander

I used an Angel 2 figure with a Xander head. I attached the neck to the shoulders with a metal pin.

I removed his hair and sculpted his Season 5 waves. I repainted his face to look more like Xander with large eyes and eyebrows, fuller lips, stubble and a cow-lick on his forehead.

I sculpted his loose jumper and the bag of Titos Crispy Potato Chips. I used metallic paint and pens for the bag design. He has a graveyard stand.

Three-Stooges Anya

I used a skirted Anya figure.

I removed her hair and smoothed down her top. I made her forehead a little wider and sculpted new hair. I painted it with some gold streaks. I gave her more of a smile and repainted her eyes looking right.

I sculpted the ruffled top and dark brown leather jacket. I also sculpted the loose-knit woolly scarf and added a tight-knit texture to her skirt. I sculpted foot holds into a graveyard stand.

Slayer's-Blood-Aphrodisiac Dru

I used a Dru head, Anya torso, Prophesy Buffy skirt and Deluxe Buffy feet. She has no articulation.

I joined the head, torso and skirt with pins, then sculpted the 1900 hair style and dress. Her feet are dangling. I painted her looking seductively at Spike.

I made the base from Wesley's cabinet and shelves. I added candles, Chinese weapons and a bronze Buddha statue. I made sure that Dru could slot into the cabinet and be glued to it. The bottom of her dress rests on the bottom shelf.

Slayer's-Blood-Aphrodisiac Spike

I used the Spike figure in the blue shirt.

I removed the hair, belt and some of his shirt. I then sculpted the long hair, tied back in a black ribbon, his granddad collar shirt, braces and high-waisted trousers. He has a wound through his eyebrow and Slayer's blood on his mouth and fingers.

Spike has articulation in his biceps and right elbow. His hands can be placed under Dru's arms, like he's lifting her up.

Painful-Lesson Spike

I used a Vampire Spike figure with a Chosen Spike head. He's howling and clutching his head because his chip has activated after prodding Buffy in her wounded belly.

I sanded down the puffy eyes and painted his face looking at Buffy while yelping.

I removed the shirt and sculpted his t-shirt. I altered the angle of his shoulder and wrist so that he could clutch his forehead. He shares a stand with Buffy that looks like part of The Bronze.

Painful-Lesson Buffy

I used a Buffy 2 figure.

I removed her hair, then sculpted the Season 5 waves and painted her face to be giving Spike a death stare, after he's prodded her in her wounded belly.

I sanded down much of her original hips and sculpted the flared trousers with the gold hipster belt. I also sculpted the ruched top and jewellery.

She's leaning over holding onto her pool queue. She shares a stand with Spike.

Humiliated Spike

I used parts from blue shirt spike, the original Moore Spike and shirtless Spike.

I removed the pelvis then sculpted his hips and belt. I altered his right knee so that it would bend further. I sculpted his t-shirt sleeves and the entire coat, hanging off his elbows.

I painted him with an upset expression and tear-stained face. The money came with various Anya figures. He is glued to a stand from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
