Raving Toy Maniac & CustomCon 10 Present

Created by Doug Cottrell (aka Jedidoug), of Jedidoug's Custom Buffy & Angel Figures.

Buffy from Season Two was made using a Moore Action Collectibles' Buffy 2 head, torso, arms, and feet and a pair of legs from Daena from the Planet of the Apes line. The hair was cut to the shorter bob and the skirt and boots were completely sculpted. Daena's legs were sanded considerably to suit the scale of the Buffy line.

Anya was made using a mold of the Bunny Anya figure by Moore Action Collectibles. It is 100% sculpey. The body is Cordelia from the "Angel" line and the arms are from Drusilla from the "Buffy" line. The pants of the figure were sanded off below the knee and the dress was sculpted over the figure.

Tara from "Bargaining" was made using the head of Daena from Planet of the Apes and Cordelia from "Angel" by Moore Action Collectibles. The Daena head was modified greatly to make it in scale and for a more authentic hairstyle. The legs were retooled to look more like loose pants. The coat was hand-made using a red knit fabric.

Dawn was made from a Buffy figure by Moore Action Collectibles and the head of a Kabuki figure. The lower legs were resulpted and the hair was completely sculpted using sculpey. The face was repainted to look more like Dawn, but the features - wide nose, full lips - make for a good likeness.

Buffy from "Chosen" was made from a series 1 Willow by Moore Action Collectibles with a Buffy 2 head and the lower legs of a series 1 Buffy. The Willow body needed major sanding and reconstruction to get the look of the white shirt and beige jacket. The jacket is sculpted on and detailed with a straight pin. The hair and lower legs were resculpted as well.

Lindsey was made using an Oz head by Moore Action Collectibles and an X-Files Mulder body by McFarlane Toys. The face needed some retooling (especially the chin and jawline) to give him a better likeness and hairstyle. Minimal work done on the body.
