2002 is turning out to be an excellent year so far - RTM is now based in the Midwest, and the winter so far has been astoundingly mild, like a dream come true. We're certain that Mother Nature will make up for it next month, but we'll take it as an omen for the rest of the year.

Spotlight: Spider-Man Movie Figures
Another happy but unexpected thing is that the Spider-Man movie action figures have landed in stores months before the film's release date. RTM takes a close look at the first five Spidey movie figures here:
Spotlight: Larry Talbot
Sideshow Toy's 12-inch Universal Monsters series continues with another action figure based on the Wolf Man, this time a figure of Larry Talbot, played by Lon Chaney, Jr.:
Burger King Lord of the Rings Toys
Did you collect all of the toys in the Burger King Lord of the Rings promotion? RTM pictures each toy, lists their features, and also outlines what variant toys exist. Of course, with each passing day, more variants seem to turn up:

Marvel Legends, Series One
Toy Biz released two sets of images of the first series of Marvel Legends action figures.
Palisades to Make Muppets
Palisades released several images of the first series of Muppets action figures, which are due out in April.
Spider-Man LEGO Sets
LEGO will be making two sets based on the Spider-Man movie in their LEGO Studios line. See pictures of the sets here.
ToyCom will be releasing a set of PVC figures based on the Steam Detectives anime/manga license.
