In-depth research of PEEPS® consumers shows that an increasing segment not only eats the marshmallow treats, but also enjoys decorating with them. Because of the success of the PEEPS® Halloween Decorating Kits in 2005, they are back by popular demand. The PEEPS® Decorating Kit comes with a 4-ct tray of PEEPS® pumpkins, 1 tube of black Cake Mate® gel, and on-pack decorating ideas. The PEEPS® Halloween Decorating Kit has an SRP of $1.99 and will be shipped in a 12-ct case or a 48-ct floor-stand display case.

In 2005, both brands saw tremendous growth in sales compared with previous years. HOT TAMALES® brand sales were up an incredible 166% and the MIKE AND IKE® brand grew 96%.
