About the release, Dynamite stated, "Frank Cho, along with his co-writer Doug Murray and series artist Homs, have taken Red Sonja and her fans on quite a ride through the frozen wastes of the Hyborian Age. This may be the conclusion of the mini-series, but Sonja fans will be seeing more from Homs in the near future. Frank Cho and Doug Murray have each been outstanding to work with.
