hasbro_tonka_logos.jpg - 7391 BytesHundreds of New York City kids will be among the first to play with what manyindustry experts feel will be a holiday season hit.

On Saturday, September 9th Hasbro will unveil its interactive Tonka truck for the new millennium with the introduction of Tucker My Talkin' Truckbot.

Toy retailers and industry experts are predicting Tucker will be one of the hot sellers for the holiday season, and NYC kids will be among the first to play in the dirt and gravel with this interactive toy.

"Tucker has all the right ingredients to be a huge seller," said Jim Silver, co-publisher of The Toy Book, a leading trade magazine on the toy industry, and Toy Wishes: The Ultimate Toy Buying Guide. "What sets him apart from other interactive vehicles is Tucker's magnetic personality, which brings him to `life' and makes him so attractive to kids."

Tonka Rockin' Construction Site is the place kids will be Saturday, right in New York City's Washington Square Park for a fun-filled day of face painting, magicians and balloon making, all in a carnival-like atmosphere. Kids can also meet a seven-foot Tucker live and in person.
