ToyBuzz Frequently Asked Questions: How Do I Post a Picture?
The ToyBuzz forum is an archaic format with very few bells or whistles or fancy features, so it's not as easy to include a photo in your post as it may be on other forums.
Since the forum format does not allow for the uploading or hosting of images, you will need to host your photo on another web site. This could be the free web page that comes with your ISP account, or it could be one of the many photo-hosting services online. (One example is PhotoBucket, which is free and offers a quick registration process.)
Be sure to that the host allows for "hot-linking" of images, which just means that a web page (in this case, the web page that is your Buzz post) on a site other than the host is allowed to display the image.
Once you have the image hosted somewhere, you can include it in your ToyBuzz post in either of two ways:
(1) Type or paste the full URL in the "Optional Image URL" box when you post. You will need to include the full URL of the image including the http:// part.
or
(2) Use plain old html (not the other kinds of markup codes used on many other forums) in your post to call up the image. The html code to display an image is:
<IMG SRC="put the url of your photo here">
If you would like to display pictures of your custom action figures, but don't want to create your own web page to do so, please visit RTM's Custom Central section and consider submitting your customs to be hosted in the Custom Galleries.
