Hey there!

These two arrived from BBTS yesterday, and of course I love 'em both. I don't have the camera to do a proper review, so just some quick thoughts to tide you over...

Batman: Not dissimilar from the first release, there are lots of things I like about this Bats; having said that, there are some things I think the Arkham Asylum version did far, far better.

Stopped by my local Kmart the other night to snag some Arizona green tea (still cheaper than Walmart) and was floored to see that ALL of the Direct Bridge Hobbit merchandise had hit clearance.

This meant that the single packs were now $4 and the two packs were $8 at my local store. So, after a few seconds delay I snagged most of the rest of the line that I'd not yet picked up. Still need to go back for a warg or two, however.

The clearance also includes the 6" figures for those of you who are interested.

I got an email today saying my sub is renewing, and that Matty will be shipping my next figure in a few days. I'm only signed up for the Watchmen sub, and I just got Rorschach like a week ago. Is Manhattan coming out earlier than expected? I thought this sub was every two months, so I wasn't expecting him until March.

Anybody else with the Watchmen sub seeing the same thing?

I really hope it's not a one-and-done figure line. I liked to have the rest of the team. I think DST has done a nice job on them. Here's hoping that we see the prototypes at Toy Fair.

I know I'm not supposed to try to sell anything on here and I am not trying to I'm simply looking for advice. I have all 4 of the turtles 1989 Playmate action figures Mint in the Box that I would like to sell so that I have enough cash to purchase another figure I have been searching for forever but I have no idea what they are worth or where I go about selling them. Are there any sites where I can accurately assess the value of my figures and any place where I could sell them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ebay banned them. Amazon (which was selling them for about $30 each last week) is now selling them for the price of a new compact car.

I'm amazed. The weeks with no recalls to post are few and far between, and I always feel like there should be cake and noise-makers when this happens.

I was going to post this in the news section, but that seems like it would jinx things and then there would be a massive recall announced on Friday. (The recalls are usually announced earlier in the week and sometimes on Thursdays.)

Seen a few on ebay. Where are they showing up?
