I have a set of toy brick given to me by my grandmother about 1962. About standard brick size, notched on top & dimpled on bottom to stack well. I have never seen any other one like these. My mother thought they may have come from Sears. Anyone ever seen them? They have no brand or other info on them.
So, we've been at 30% post x-mas toys for over a week now, anyone know when the rates improve and we get the 50% or 70% off rates? What day of the week?
Thanks!
Did Hasbro state when the figures would be released this year? Any help is appreciated!
I ordered Lead and Platinum from Matty on Dec 18th and still have yet to receive them. I tried to call Matty Custmomer Service but all I could do was email them(?) Are you serious? Does anyone have their phone number? Even with Christmas, no order should take 2 weeks or more to be delievered. What a terrible company.
For the most part, my family & I have found this year's post-holiday shopping has been a big let down. A lot of things were marked down the week before Christmas and fairly well picked over even before any would-be clearance sales on Dec. 26. But sometimes....patience pays off.
I knew that Toys 'R' Us was going to have the Peanuts wooden train set (think Brio-style) by Round 2 Toys, but at $29.99, I was a little dissuaded. Just before Christmas, it went on sale for $19.99, and I almost bit. Being to busy getting things ready for the big day, though, the sale got past me. So I checked again on Dec. 26th, and the price...sigh...was back to $29.99. For no good reason other than pure curiosity, I decided to check one more time just before the new year and guess what? It's now $7.50, so for anybody who may be interested...here ya go!
Use "posable" for 25% off action figures including sideshow star wars and hot toys iron man and batman.
I purchased bespin Luke hot toys for $220 and Boba Fett for $110!
This is only good for another 24 hours.
Good luck!
The figure looks awesome from the pictures I've seen of it, but the price is pretty steep. Anybody here own one? If so, would you say it's worth the money? I have quite a few Hot Toys already, so I'm not against paying a little extra for a high quality display piece, but I don't know if I'm willing to take the plunge on Iron Monger. Thanks.
Kinda thought I'd pop on here and see people talking about it already. Hot Toys is making a 12" version of Snake Eyes from G.I.Joe Retaliation. Say what you want about the Joe movies, this design is bad-ass and the figure looks awesome! Won't be cheap, but it will be awesome!

A few days before Christmas I decided to see if Target had received the MU Professor-X wave. No luck, but among the Star Wars Vintage figures, in the pile of figures that fell off the pegs, was 1 lone Imperial Navy Commander (Death Squad Trooper for us old school folks), in great condition no less. I thought I missed out on this one. Needless to say I bought him (and he was on sale too).
A couple days later I popped into Walgreens for something and thought I'd take a glance at the toy aisle while I was there. GI Joe POC Blowtorch was all by his lonesome on a peg. I never saw anyone from this wave at retail down here in So FL (only got the Cobra Trooper through HTS). After seeing him I thought I'd check some of the other Walgreens in the area and so far I've found a Jungle Bat in one, Gen. Hawk, Steel Brigade trooper, & Blowtorch (x3) in another, and Gen. Hawk & a Cobra Trooper in yet another. So far the only one I haven't seen from the wave has been Cobra Commander, but he's probably out there. If you missed out on this wave like me (it was released back in Apr-May of 2011) check your nearest Walgreens.
Finally found these "Skazooms" on Amazon. My son came home from Christmas Holidays and all he could talk about was these skazooms his friend had at school. After searching through a few stores, finally found them on Amazon. Was hoping they sold in packs but you can pick out the ones you want as individual. Price was good, cute characters.
