Each Minimate stands 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation and a variety of removable and interchangeable parts and accessories. July 2012 - The next 9-inch Femme Fatales PVC statue to hit stores from Diamond Select Toys is none other than the First Lady of Femme Fatales -- Dawn, created by Joseph Michael Linsner! Inspired by the cover to Cry for Dawn #8, this crimson-armored version of Dawn is titled Dawn: Executioner, and skilled sculptor Steve Kiwus has adapted the look and pose from that cover into three dimensions. Below, you can see the early control art Linsner drew up for DST, Kiwus' final rendering, and the final piece. And check out the exclusive variant version! April 2012 - It's Wednesday, which means hordes of comic book fans are flocking to their local comic shops to pick up the latest releases. For those of you hoping to pick up the latest issue of Tarot, Witch of the Black Rose (the deluxe and signed editions of #73 arrive today), you may also want to swing by the toy department, because the newest Femme Fatales statue from Diamond Select Toys is also shipping to stores! Raven Hex, the stern sorcery-slinging sister of Tarot, stands 9 inches tall and is cast in PVC plastic, which puts her price far below that of most resin statues. March 2012 - The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) runs from April 13-15 this year, and once again Diamond Select Toys (DST) will be in attendance! And since it's also the 10th anniversary of Minimates, they've got some great events planned!

First off, Saturday afternoon will bring a special 10th anniversary Minimates panel, focusing on the coming year. From Marvel's Avengers to the Walking Dead to Battle Beasts, Diamond Select Toys representatives will share info about DST's upcoming lines, debut the next stop-motion animated Pirate Raiders movie and give away cool prizes!
