4Kids Entertainment, Inc., Radio City Entertainment, and Nintendo of America announced the first-ever, national theatrical tour of Pokemon Live!, a 90-minute live musical, based on the #1 kids entertainment property in the world. The multi-media live action adventure premieres on the Great Stage at Radio City Music Hall beginning September 20, 2000 and then travels to theaters and arenas across North America. Animation and special effects will be interwoven with a live cast of audience favorites, including the ever-popular Ash, Misty, Brock and Team Rocket. Pikachu and dozens of other Pokemon will appear on stage for the very first time, against a backdrop of captivating all-new musical numbers and beloved songs from the #1 TV series and movies. A brand-new storyline, featuring exciting twists and turns, makes this adventure a must-see event for all Pokemon fans. Will Ash and friends prevail in their greatest challenge ever? What shocking surprises will stun even the most die-hard Pokemon fans? You've just gotta catch this show for all the excitement!
