RTM has received some new, clearer pictures of some of the upcoming DC Direct action figures that we though you, our gentile readers, would enjoy seeing. The gang at DC Direct continues to produce some of the all-time best representations of classic DC Comics characters, looking to please different segments of their audience with classic Silver Age characters, characters from the Vertigo stable of books such as the cast of Preacher or John Constantine, and they have even made a foray into the Wildstorm imprint with a Wildcats PVC set and the Tom Strong/Pnueman action figure 2-pack.

There is even more great stuff that DC Direct will be announcing very soon, so stay tuned to RTM for the latest developments.

Sure to be a fan-favorite is the fall release of the Deluxe Shazam! Action Figure Set featuring the original Captain Marvel and his alter-ego Billy Batson. Captain Marvel stands 6.25" tall and Billy stands at 4.375" Look for this 2 pack to be in comic shops on September 13th.

July sees the release of 2 of the Teen Titans, Kid Flash and Starfire from the classic Marv Wolfman/George Perez era of the comics run. Also being released in July is the Tom Strong Deluxe Action Figure Set.

Tom Strong, based on the comic book series created by Alan Moore, and his robotic valet Pneuman will hit comic stores on July 19th, packaged in an attractive window box. Tom stands 6 1/5" tall and Pneuman stands 7" tall. Each figure is fully articulated (Pnueman even has rolling wheels!).

Wally West and Princess Koriand'r join the DC Direct action figure ranks on July 12th with the release of the Kid Flash and Starfire action figures.

August sees the release of a magical-themed set of DC action figures featuring Dr. Fate, John Constantine (from the Vertigo series Hellblazer), The Spectre and Zatanna.
