CatPro's Marvel Toys Go to Canada

MONTREAL, Jan. 17 -- Grand Toys International, Inc. announced today that its Canadian subsidiary, Grand Toys Ltd., has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with CatPro Inc. to sell its Marvel Toy Products line, consisting of Balzac Balloon Balls, Ultra-Lite Flyers, Blow-Ups and other products and accessories in Canada. CatPro Inc. has licensed various Marvel Characters including Spiderman, the Hulk, X-Men, Daredevil and other characters for several of its proprietary technologies.

CatPro Inc. is a developer and marketer of many consumer products, including toys, textiles, internet technologies, confectionary products, electronics, fragrance technologies, plush technologies, computer technologies, film and video technologies and food application systems.

Jason Mars, Director of Merchandising for Grand commented, "We are very pleased to have a distribution agreement with CatPro Inc. to represent its Marvel Toy Products line. We believe that the CatPro. Marvel Toy Products line will complement our current offering of Marvel characters action figures. The CatPro Inc. product line will provide us with sales opportunities on a year round basis."

Founded in 1960, Grand Toys International, Inc. is a premier licensee and distributor of a wide variety of toys and ancillary items in Canada and since January 1999, a supplier of proprietary products in the United States.
