BEPPO THE SUPER-MONKEY SOFT TOY
Advance-solicited; in stores July 24. What's more fun than a barrel of monkeys? All it takes is one monkey...so long as it's Beppo, the Super-Monkey! Rocketed into space in an experimental rocket built by the Silver Age Superman's father, Jor-El of Krypton, little Beppo eventually made his way to Earth, where he gained all the powers and abilities of Superman...plus a fondness for bananas. The BEPPO THE SUPER-MONKEY SOFT TOY stands approximately 8" tall and features poseable arms and tail. Packaged in a 4-color window box. From the historic comic that introduced the world to the Justice League of America...the cover of THE BRAVE & THE BOLD #28 (March, 1960) is recreated as a stunning, hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain statue! The heroes of the first super-team of the Silver Age (Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter) struggle against the menace of Starro the Conqueror, with each figure measuring approximately 5" tall. Superman's arch nemesis, the renegade criminal genius Lex Luthor, pauses in his moment of triumph: the creation of his new invention of a hunk of Green Kryptonite, the only substance that can destroy the Man of Steel! This mini-bust is a hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain statue, and stands overall with base approximately 5 2/5" tall x 5 1/4" wide. Packaged in a 4-color box.
