This finely handcrafted sculpture captures an Airborne sergeant in authentic detail. He is wearing standard issue O.D. jungle fatigues that include a four-pocket jungle fatigue jacket, cargo pocket ripstop pants, and a pair of canvas and leather jungle boots that contained a hardened steel screen insole to prevent foot injuries when stepping on booby traps. The sergeant is carrying an M-60, 7.62mm, LMG (light machine gun) and he is in the process of securing his group�s LZ (landing zone).
