This is merely a filler set containing repaints of previously released figures. The links on this page lead to the statistics for the original figures. On those pages you will find information about the repaints and any differences in the figures or accesories. The two major figures in this particular line would have to be the Iceman and Storm figures. The Iceman is cast from the same mold as the original minus the thermochromatic paint. Instead of clear plastic, he was made of a clear blue plastic. Storm was also made from the same mold as the original. However, she was repainted and a cape was added to more accurately reflect her appearance in the comics at that time. The only major descrepancy between what is shown above and what was actually released is that Mr. Sinister's cape appears completely red in the photograph above. In reality, he was released with the same cape as the original. The only difference was his added goatee.

Interestingly, Toy Biz released at least one other assortment of repaints but this other assortment was never featured on any card back. The other repaints included the Cyclops X-Men Uniform repaint of the Cyclops I figure, the Archangel I Gray Wings repaint, and a subtle repaint of the Colossus figure (plus several other re-releases). All repaints of first series figures are easily distinguished by the presence of the hanger hook and the lack of a white bordered Impel trading card.
