Hasbro Marvel/Spider-Man Q&A

October 2007 - Each month, Hasbro will answer five questions about their Marvel and Spider-Man products. Here are the latest questions and answers:

1. Is there any chance of HasbroToyShop selling Build-a-Figure series/waves as SETS?

Answer: Yes. We'll definitely look into testing this out in one of our upcoming waves.

2. Will Hasbro show any new Marvel Legends at Toy Fair in February or will they wait until NY Comic Con again?

Answer: You'll see new reveals at both shows.

3. Will the Marvel Legends Signature Series continue?

Answer: We love these classic Mego-Style figures, but we don't have any immediate plans for them in 2008. We have a lot of new and exciting Marvel products in the pipeline right now and there is only so much shelf space to go around!

4. Any chance of including comic books (or even smaller-sized reproductions) again with Marvel Legends figures?

Answer: Not without increasing the price. At the current price point it's a trade off... comic or BAF component.

5. Have you thought about offering the Build-a-Figure as a mail-in offer, thus possibly lowering the retail price of Marvel Legends?

Answer: We're not looking to implement a price adjustment as Marvel Legends are currently priced the same as most 6 inch action figures in the marketplace. Some include comics, some include BAF's, some include extra accessories... but generally speaking they're priced the same.
