Retailers Pick Their Hot Toys For The Holiday Season

The 2000 holiday season is just around the corner, and retailers believe they have a handle on what the hot toys will be. Here's a list of their picks for this year's hottest toys, as reported by the Associated Press.

Note that, besides Bandai's Gundam products, action figures are complete absent from this list.

  • Best Selling Toys Overall: Scooters by such suppliers as Razor, Micro, Huffy and others.

  • Gundam by Bandai
  • ``Harry Potter'' Trivia Game by Mattel
  • Hit Clips by Hasbro's Tiger Electronics
  • Lego Soccer Championship Challenge, by Lego
  • Let's Pretend Elmo by Mattel
  • Pokemon Cards by Hasbro
  • Singing Dolls by Toymax
  • Top It by Hasbro
  • Tucker My Talkin' Truckbot by Hasbro
  • Best Selling PC Game: Interplay's Baldur's Gate II, Shadows of Amn, Age of Empires
  • Best Selling Video Game: Activision's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
  • Best Selling Toy Online: Scooters from such suppliers as Razor, Micro
