CHARACTERS FROM THE NEW COMPUTER ANIMATED ADVENTURE DOOGAL NAVIGATE THEIR WAY INTO McDONALD'S® HAPPY MEALS AND MIGHTY KIDS MEALS

Oak Brook, Ill., February 22, 2006 � An exciting group of heroes from The Weinstein Company's new CGI animated family film, Doogal, are journeying into McDonald's Happy Meals and Mighty Kids Meals. Beginning February 24, 2006 through March 16, 2006, young guests will receive one of eight zany characters inspired by the film with the purchase of a Happy Meal® or Mighty Kids Meal®, at participating McDonald's restaurants, while supplies last.

Doogal follows the adventures of four brave friends determined to save the world from the wicked sorcerer Zeebad. When Zeebad threatens to deep-freeze the earth, Doogal and his friends Brian, Dylan and Ermintrude band together to foil Zeebad's plot and save the day. The Weinstein Company's Doogal is in theatres February 24.

From cute and furry to brave and bouncing, the Doogal McDonald's Happy Meal and Mighty Kids Meal collection features eight main characters from the highly anticipated adventure. Doogal, a shaggy yet lovable dog, is a soft plush toy with hi-pile fabric covering his head, ears and body. Stand back as speedy Dylan races forward with karate chop action and whimsical Ermintrude uses her own tail as a jump rope. Zebedee and Zeebad are bouncing, spinning tops sure to delight kids of all ages, and brave Soldier Sam protects his red light up diamond inside his chest. The energetic toy Train is ready to ride until his wheels suddenly collapse � after a short rest, the wheels spring back and the train is on track again. Rounding out this dynamic collection of characters is a smiling snail named Brian - bring Brian out of his shell by pressing the button on his back. The McDonald's Happy Meal Doogal collection brings the vibrant personalities of the film's main characters to life and will add another layer of excitement for young moviegoers nationwide.

McDonald's guests have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of food choices with their Happy Meals and Mighty Kids Meals including Apple Dippers (fresh, peeled apple slices) served with low-fat caramel dipping sauce, and beverage choices including 100% pure Minute Maid apple juice and low-fat white and chocolate Milk Jugs, served in easy to handle containers.
