May 2005 - A beautiful PVC statue based on the character Kureha from the hot Xbox game Ninja Gaiden will be available exclusively in North America through Diamond Comic Distributors!

First released in Japan in 1988 as Ninja Ryukenden, the popular beat-em-up arcade game would soon become of the most popular franchises in video game history, taking on the name Ninja Gaiden in the United States. Its clever use of cinema for telling the game's story and innovative additions to game play over the years have kept it consistently on gamers' lists of favorite titles. With the newest Xbox incarnation of the game, that popularity has only risen!

Now, Kotobukiya is releasing a beautiful PVC statue based on one of the hot-selling game's popular characters, Kureha. The lifelong friend of Ryu Hayabusa, Kureha is one of the protectors of the Hayabusa Village shrine in the world of Ninja Gaiden.

Imported from Japan, this pre-painted PVC statue of Kureha stands 11" tall and is ready to display with the included base. She is faithfully depicted in dynamic pose with a detailed priestess costume that expertly replicates the in-game world. Scheduled to ship in August 2005.

Fans can find this and other great video game-based products at their local comics shop, or by contacting the Comic Shop Locator Service toll free at 1-888-COMICBOOK (1-888-266- 4226) or online at http://www.comicshoplocator.com.
