Donnie Baseball is nearly here. McFarlane Toys will produce a 3-inch-scale baseball figure exclusive to the Toys "R" Us Times Square store in Manhattan. This limited-edition figure � only available at the Times Square store -- immortalizes one of the most popular players in New York Yankees history: Don "Donnie Baseball" Mattingly.

Welcome to the third annual Beat Todd's Picks Challenge. Todd is challenging listeners of his radio show (airing bi-weekly at 2 PM ET on mlb.com) and spawn.com visitors to beat his predictions for the 2005 Major League Baseball season. If someone does, that successful prognosticator will win all of the new McFarlane's Sports Picks regular-edition baseball figures produced in 2005, which adds up to, well, a lot of little men in tight plastic pants.

McFarlane Toys to attend the National and FanFest events

July is going to be a big month for collectors around the country as McFarlane Toys will attend two separate sports events featuring exclusive figures: MLB FanFest in Detroit and the National in Chicago. Major League FanFest is up first, taking place Friday, July 8 through Tuesday, July 12 at the COBO Conference/Exhibition Center, 1 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI.
