D-Boy Announces Dark Angel Action Figures For 2001

 Comics Continuum is reporting that D-Boy Inc. will producing a series of four action figures based on Kia Asamiya's Dark Angel manga series. Dark, Leen, Sen and Tan are planned for the first wave of four figures, slated right now for early 2001release. "D-Boy, Inc. is very excited in working with Mr. Asamiya on this line of figures." said Erik Ko, owner of D-Boy. "I have been a long time follower of Asamiya-sensei's work, starting about 10 years ago with Silent Mobius. I still remember how excited I was when I saw Dark Angel for the first time in the NewType Magazine!" D-Boy came on to the action figure scene with a planned line of Gen 13 action figures. While only Fairchild actually made it into production, the company remained undaunted and moved forward with excellent figures of Dragonman and Solarlord. D-Boy looks to make a big splash this year with it's Warlands, and Wu-Tang action figure lines.
