Move over Myster Men, here come The Specials. Not as good as regular superheroes, but slightly better than you is the tag line for this upcoming motion picture featuring a group of second-rate superheroes on the verge of hitting the big time and getting their own series of action figures.

The movie starts Thomas Hayden Church ("Wings", "Ned and Stacy") as team leader The Strobe, Rob Lowe ("The West Wing") as The Weevil, Jamie Kennedy ("Scream") as Amok, and Melissa Joan Hart ("Sabrina the Teenage Witch") as Sunlight Grrrl .

Look for The Specials later this year. There's no word if there will actually be action figures tying into the films release. The figures shown are from the films trailer.
