Bone Fans Rejoice! New Figures Coming Soon!

bonelogo_w.jpg - 12323 BytesBone fans saddened by the demise of ReSaurus' Bone action figure line, based on the popular comic book series by Jeff Smith, will be happy to know that there are more Bone figures on the horizon. This time, however, the figures will be coming directly from Cartoon Books themselves.

The first indication came with an announcement on the official Bone website, Boneville.com that all-new Bone figures were coming soon.

phoney_mallet.jpg - 4312 BytesThen came the report from the recent Pittsburgh Comicon that Bone creator Jeff Smith announced the initial lineup would consist of Phoney Bone, Gran�ma Ben and the Hooded One, with other figures such as the Red Dragon and King Dok already in the planning stages. The figures are being designed to compliment the existing ReSaurus figures.

Look for the first prototypes to debut this summer at the San Diego Comic Con International. RTM will be staying on top of this developing line. Check back for more information on Cartoon Book's all-new Bone action figures soon!
