MIAMI, Feb. 9, 2004 -- Wishes really do come true -- especially with The Fairly OddParents(TM) at BURGER KING(R)! Based on the highly successful TV show on Nickelodeon, the BURGER KING Fairly OddParents(TM) promotion captures the essence of the popular cartoon and quirky characters to bring the property to life. Beginning February 9, 2004, the promotion will showcase ten enchanting toys featuring all of the favorite Fairly OddParents(TM) characters, including Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda! The promotion is scheduled to run through March 14, 2004, or while supplies last.

"Fantasy and magic are integral components of every child's playtime fun," said Brian Gies, senior director, youth and family marketing, Burger King Corporation. "This latest promotion in our long-term partnership with Nickelodeon brings the magical antics of The Fairly OddParents(TM), one of Nickelodeon's most popular TV series, to BURGER KING kids meals with an assortment of collectible toys that will inspire even more imaginary adventures."

About The Toys

Each toy features popular Fairly OddParents(TM) characters based on the television cartoon, including Invisible Timmy, Spectacular Sparks Cosmo, Crash Nebula Magic Roll Away Bed, Cosmo & Wanda Aqua-Clip Fishbowl, Disappearing Vicky, Glo & Go Fairy-Go-Round, Chin-Powered Crimson Chin, Timmy-to-Cleft Wonder Changer, OddParents(TM) Stuffin' Plush Fishbowl and Crash Landing Mark The Alien.

Magical Codes Add Online Excitement

Plus, kids will get access to a bonus prize, a limited edition screensaver, if they collect and type in all five codes.

"We are proud of the relationship we have built with Burger King Corporation," said Pam Kaufman, senior vice president, marketing, Nickelodeon. "They do an excellent job at bringing our properties to life through promotion."

A Magical Promotion

Burger King Corporation will launch a full marketing program for The Fairly OddParents(TM) promotion, including television, in-restaurant merchandising, a birthday mailer to Big Kids Club members and the Adventures newsletter. Kids can also log on to a special interactive promotion site at www.burgerking.com to learn more about the ten fun Fairly OddParents(TM) toys.

About The Fairly OddParents(TM)

The Fairly OddParents(TM) cartoon tells the story of Timmy Turner, an ordinary boy overlooked by his parents and tormented by his "icky" babysitter, Vicky. Life stinks for Timmy until -- poof! -- two characters called Wanda and Cosmo appear and introduce themselves as Timmy's fairy godparents! The silly sidekicks have a duty to fulfill Timmy's wishes, and this leads to many goofy adventures. With clever jokes, smart dialogue and funny lessons; the show has become one of the most popular shows on TV for kids and adults alike.

The Fairly OddParents(TM) "Big SuperHero Wish" Special

The Fairly OddParents(TM) "Big SuperHero Wish" episode premieres on Nickelodeon at 8 pm (EST) on Monday, February 16. The event incorporates all the aspects of the show that kids love (humor, magic, wish fulfillment) and provides a unified message for kids to interact with the characters across multiple media platforms (on-air, online and print). On-air promotion leading up to the event will include villains from the episode appearing on the network and will encourage kids to go to nick.com to battle the villains in the online game. In addition, Nickelodeon's on-air sweepstakes will allow one lucky winner to be Pick Boy's sidekick and co-host UPick Live for a day!
