HERSHEY, Pa., December 8, 2003 -- Mooooooove over bears - a new plush is making its debut! Working with The Boyds Collection, Ltd., Hershey Foods has created its own line of Boyds Cows.

Each cow in the collection represents an era in American history and a significant event in Hershey's history. The first cuddly cow in the collection, "Chocolate," celebrates the creation of Hershey's Milk Chocolate and Hershey's rich dairy heritage.

Milton Hershey's first bull, Chocolate Segis Pontiac Alcarta, was the inspiration for "Chocolate."

"Chocolate," who stands 10 inches tall, is dressed in denim overalls and sports a red checkered handkerchief around his neck. A signature silver- wrapped Hershey's Kisses chocolate applique adorns his left foot.

Four cows will be introduced each year and retail for $16.95 each. The Hershey's Cows will be sold exclusively through www.hersheyboyds.com.
